Subaru History: Boxer Engine and Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive

Subaru was founded in the 1950s by Fuji Heavy Industries as a subsidiary for automotive production. Its logo features six stars and is based on the Pleiades star cluster (called ‘Subaru’ in Japanese).
